LinkedIn: the network for professionals

LinkedIn has 17 million active visitors per month in France. 

This network allows you to communicate about your professional life, your experiences in companies and to exchange with people in your sector of activity. 

What is the content strategy on LinkedIn?

Communicate on the different events you participate in (trade shows, seminars, webinars ...). This will show others your motivation and interest in your field of activity.

You can offer motivating and instructive content by helping Internet users and thus boost your image!

It is essential touse the different tools that LinkedIn offers (survey, carousel, photos, videos ...) and to diversify the topics. You'll find it easier to find what you're looking for :)

LinkedIn Post Checklist:

  • 3 to 5 hashtags per publication (related to your content)
  • publish from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 10am or from 5pm to 6pm (also to be tested according to your network)
  • regular content, 3 to 4 publications per week
  • give a lot of importance to the hook of your post (if it is not satisfactory, people will not be interested in the next post)
  • identify people or companies (in relation to the content of your post of course :) )

Instagram: the photo network

Instagram has 32 million active visitors per month in France. 

This network has been democratized and allows today to propose different types of content. However it remains the network used to publish its most beautiful photos. 

What is the content strategy on Instagram?

With Instagram, you can create a real active community.

Showcase your business and your assets. Show your community your talents and inspirations!

One of the key points on Instagram is your feed (homepage, your profile). This must have a good visual, it will attract users.

Offer them quality photos. Even if the content on Instagram has diversified, the photo remains the main object. It is therefore important to propose quality photos, well worked.

Feel free to create front page stories on your Instagram feed, with different themes. This will allow newcomers to admire your work and expertise.

Instagram post checklist:

  • relevant hashtags (no more than 10 per publication)
  • published on Monday and Thursday, from 7am to 9am or from 5pm to 6pm
  • regularity ofone post per week + regular stories (show your presence!)
  • interaction with the community (polls and questions in stories, responses to comments on posts --> give importance to your community!)
  • showcase your customer experiences (demonstrate your capabilities to your community)

YouTube: the video hosting network

Note that 62% of companies use YouTube to publish videos.  

This network will allow you to propose the content adapted to your offer and the ideas you want to convey. It is a free platform where you can propose the videos you want.  

What is the content strategy on YouTube?

The key to creating an active community on YouTube will be regularity. Offering regular content, on the same day, at the same time, will set a date in the mind of the Internet user.

Organize your videos in different playlists on your channel so that people can find a certain structure of your videos and not be lost if you publish many videos :)

Share your YouTube channel and videos on other networks, people are not necessarily kept informed of the content you produce on the platform.

YouTube post checklist:

  • regularity of publication (adapted to your objectives and the content you propose)
  • Monday to Friday, from 2 to 4 pm
  • give importance to the quality of your videos (editing, visual quality ...)
  • relevance of titles, description, tags (and yes, it's not only the video that counts!)

TikTok: the modern network

On average, users open the application 9 times a day. 

This network offers a new format, which leads to offer new content.

What is the content strategy on TikTok?

TikTok will allow you to propose totally offbeat content and thus get out of the professional frame. Get out of the "professional" frame and propose "Lifestyle" content about your way of working, your working days ... Ridicule doesn't kill, so have fun :)

TikTok is the platform that will allow you to get closer to your community and create more closeness with those who follow you. 

Checklist for a TikTok post:

  • relevant hashtags (no more than 8)
  • Monday to Friday, after 5pm
  • launch challenges (let your inspiration and creativity speak for itself!)
  • use the music and keywords in trends
  • show the backstage (of your company, your days ... People are very curious!)
