Introduction:
Oteria Cyber School is a cybersecurity school that organizes an annual academic challenge, the Oteria Cyber Cup, for students interested in computer security. They entrusted us with the task of developing a presentation and registration page for the event. Here is how we worked to meet their needs.
Project Mapping:
- We started by adapting the existing Oteria Cyber School graphic design for the Cup.
- Then, we thought about the user experience and developed a wireframe for the registration page.
- We then created a UI model on Figma to validate the graphic choices with the client.
Development of the Figma model on Webflow :
- We developed the Webflow registration page using Client-First development best practices.
- We also integrated a countdown timer and a progress bar to the day the Cup starts to create a sense of urgency for visitors.
- We have included a detailed description of the events and designers to help visitors understand how the event works.
- We also highlighted the Cup's partners to give credibility to the event and reinforce the visitors' confidence.
Results:
- The registration page we developed has allowed Oteria Cyber School to significantly increase the number of registrations for the Cup.
- The page is also well referenced on search engines thanks to a careful SEO optimization.
- The registration form on the page is easy to fill out and well-structured, which has increased the conversion rate.
Conclusion:
We worked closely with Oteria Cyber School to understand their needs and expectations.
